We are grateful for the many ministry opportunities the Lord has placed before us in 2017. His kindness is evident to us every day. Here are a few highlights:
IDEX (Instituto de Expositores, the TMAI school that I direct)
- This semester I’m teaching Expository Preaching and Systematic Theology 2. We have approximately 100 men enrolled in those courses.
- I oversee our online program, where we have another 100 students (We offer several courses online, such as Greek Grammar, Bible Survey, Theology, etc.).
- I have the privilege of teaching an intensive modular course on preaching the week after Shepherds’ Conference. Approximately 15 international men will attend class in Los Angeles from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm daily that week.
TMS
- I had the privilege of teaching a couple of seminars in the Doctor of Ministry program, and will also be teaching a section of Preaching Workshop this semester.
Home
- Crystal continues to homeschool three days a week (On Mondays Crystal and the children are involved in Classical Conversations and Fridays the kids attend public school).
- I am trying to use my free time to finish my doctoral thesis, which is due in March. I also teach Sunday School in the Spanish Ministry of Grace Community Church.
- As I write this, Crystal is recovering from pneumonia, which she developed from a combination of bacterial bronchitis and type-A influenza.
